MTA’s Metro Subway Celebrates
25 Years of Service to the Community!

The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) invites everyone to join the six-month celebration of Metro Subway’s 25th Anniversary. These family-friendly celebrations are our way of saying “thank you” for riding MTA, and will feature music, performances by local artists and entertainers, and displays from local school groups, community partners and vendors. Be sure to visit the Maryland Food Bank display also, where you can enter a raffle to win tickets to an Orioles home game or local movie passes!

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday, November 21, Charles Center
Join MTA for the grand finale Metro 25th Anniversary Celebration event at Charles Center Metro Subway Station. MTA will host an event for the general public from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Everyone is encouraged to come listen to some good music, meet MTA/Metro staff and enjoy cake. Participants will have a chance to win prizes by spinning the Metro Subway Trivia Wheel!
